Well, what do 51 songs from all over (literally) the United States look and sound like?
You’re about to find out.
Side Note: All of these are basically the first rough drafts, and what you’re really, truly seeing is something that is unique to itself, created within mere hours from me meeting my musician for the first time in almost every case, to us creating a song from complete scratch - no lyrics, chords, ideas - then us writing, rehearsing, recording it within a matter of hours (3.5-7 on average).
Are they perfect? Hahaha Heaven no!
Are they done? Yes.
Will some be rewritten? Absolutely.
So join the fun in laughing, crying, cringing, pondering, and wandering genres and the States with me via music.

The first song of the bunch where my Geico agent became my Texas musician, and I didn’t know what I was doing just yet. Welcome to Austin, Texas!

With some of (if not The) tiniest roads I’ve been on in the US, this song was birthed in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This being the natural state and all, we decided on this theme and built a song around it.

Where are we? In a hallway? Well, a storage unit hallway, to be precise. Mississippi’s song was created and recorded in a storage unit.
Week + Song 8: French Quarter Life
State: Louisiana
Ahh, New Orleans. Beignets, chicory coffee, life music. Love from my soul.
Week + Song 9: Transitions
State: Alabama
There are many transitions in life, stages of growth we go through, levels in existence from one lesson to the next, aging on year at a time, birth and death. The best thing to come out of Alabama was this Transition.
Music Born in other countries
“Follow your heart, and it’ll take you everywhere you want to go…”
This song was born in Brazil, in Floripa right around the time Carnaval was happening back in 2018. Did I know how to speak Portuguese? Nope. I knew one friend from Brazil living in the city, and I found musicians, made friends, and made music. Follow is what followed. ;)
Side Note: And yes, I had 80’s highlighter pink hair. Fitting for Carnaval, and that was also not the intention. It was actually supposed to be pastel…but that hairdresser clearly did not know what they were doing…
